Nakatani Foundation’s objective is to contribute to the social development and better lives of Japan and the international community by promoting biomedical engineering measurement technologies and nurturing abundant human resources. Nakatani Foundation collects personal information along with these objectives. Complying fully with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other legislation concerning personal information, Nakatani Foundation acknowledges the importance of personal information. It regards ensuring protection and proper handling of such information as one of its social responsibility.

Nakatani Foundation will collect personal information within the scope of specified purposes of utilization. An individual submits personal information with his/her own will only.

Nakatani Foundation will utilize collected personal information within the scope of the specified purpose of usage. Nakatani Foundation will not disclose the personal information to 3rd party except for the following cases;

1. Where Nakatani Foundation subcontracts its operations which utilize the personal information within the scope of the specified purpose
2. Where Applicable law or regulations require the disclosure
3. Where provision is necessary due to reasons such as protection of human life and body or property

1. The Foundation will exercise appropriate management of all personal information that it collects and will take necessary preventive and corrective measures against unauthorized access, theft, loss, damage, manipulation, leakage, etc.
2. Nakatani Foundation shall contract with appropriate subcontractor properly handling personal information and ensure that such subcontractor properly perform its obligation to administer persona information
3. If the Foundation is requested by an individual to disclose, provide notification on the purposes of utilization of, correct, add to, delete, cease the utilization of, or erase his/her personal information, or to provide it to a third party, it will respond appropriately and promptly after confirming the identity of such individual.
