About Nakatani FoundationProspectus

The sophistication of Japan’s economy and society has been accelerating since the 1970s.
This has been achieved by making full use of Japan’s only resource,
people with advantaged intelligence.
The expansion of electronics, especially computers, has played a key role.

Such expansion of electronic technology may not be achieved
without establishing a great base of electronic measuring technologies.
This means that there is an urgent need to further strengthen the base of electronic measuring technologies
in order to realize greater development of Japan’s electronic technologies.
This is why electronic measuring devices and equipment are called the mother tools of electronics.

The government, in view of such a situation, has developed various policies to establish the base of electronic measuring technology.
Also in the private sector, we would like to make efforts in the same direction,
i.e., promote the development of technology, research technology trends,
gather and provide information and so on, in order to build the base of electronic measuring technology.

So, we are happy to announce hereby that we have established the Nakatani Electronic Measuring Technology Association of Japan
in order to contribute to Japan’s economic and social development and the improvement of people’s lives
by means of promoting the development of electronic measuring technology and thereby establishing the base of industry.

Mr. Taro Nakatani (1921-1984),
First President
